Prenatal massage is a soothing and therapeutic massage for the expecting mother. Swedish massage is used to ease pain and tension. Massage helps with swelling of ankles and legs, Side lying position and sitting upright position is used for comfort as the pregnancy advances. Some areas are avoided during massage as it can promote uterine contractions.
